THE UJC 2006 TRIBUTE
BOOK
The annual Tribute Book is an integral part
of our UJC fundraising efforts. It is distributed
to the entire community, and affords you
an opportunity to extend wishes of a personal
nature to friends or family, honour a life-cycle
event, or express any other sentiments. The
Tribute Book is also an excellent medium
for advertisements and commercial notices.
This year, in conjunction with the Tribute
Book, we are producing a Shabbat Booklet
in Hebrew, English and transliteration, which
will be both a useful and beautiful reference
tool for you to use at home – a “how
to guide” for Shabbat.
We would also like to take this opportunity
to thank and honour a number of important
people, who will unfortunately be leaving
Hong Kong soon, for their tremendous contributions
to our community: Rabbi
Michael has been
with us for two years; Ben, our Shaliach
has also been here for two years; and Tzvika,
our Education and Programming Director, has
been here for one year. All deserve our thanks
and appreciation.
As you consider the scale of your donation
this year, remember – the synagogue
must rely on its members for an ever-increasing
portion of its budget. Therefore, we need
your support to ensure that Shorashim, regular
holiday and life-cycle events, and programs
such as youth and adult education can continue.
Please click here to download the Tribute
Book request form. We would appreciate receiving
your completed form and full payment at the
UJC office by May 19th, 2006.
We thank you in advance for your generous
support.
If you have any questions, please call the
UJC office at 2523-2985.
